To promote educational development of African American graduate and doctoral students at the School of Social Service Administration. To act as liaison for African American students to the University administration. To encourage recruitment and retention of African American students, faculty, and staff. To enlighten the University community of issues of relevance to social problems and strategies for their resolution.
